New citizenship application fees from 1 July 2023

Citizenship application fees will increase from 1 July 2023.

New fees will apply to all citizenship applications received by the Department on or after midnight (AEST) on that date.

Fees for all applicants are increasing, and new concession fees are being introduced for Pensioner Concession Card holders.

The eligibility for fee exemptions remains the same.

If you are applying for citizenship before 1 July 2023, you will pay the current fees.
